Felix break out the Gingham at Casa De Popolo

This has gotta be the Got Gingham Get of the Summer... but still, keep coming back y'all.
29th June, Twenty-Twelve (Montreal) Half the year has been shot to the horizon and the heat is cooking the streets of the city. Today we bring you pics that our latest reporter Annie Hunting has gathered during the last month. Above we see Annie and Nick Trudel sporting Gingham at the Felix show in Montreal last week. Never heard of the band Felix? Now you have [see here]. Best of all... their fans Got Gingham.

More astounding gets by the incredibly intrepid Gingham Journalist, Annie Hunting:

Sarah is roaming the Friperie District

"Out there, in the sea of love..."
Gorgeous people come from miles around to the Friperie District just south of Duluth on Boulevard St-Laurent. Meet our latest Get, Sarah who was only too happy to pose in her vintage Forty-Five.

Philly-style drop shadow cutting no corners.

NYC-Style Calypso Shortsleever astounding us as much as it is him.

There is no grey area when it comes to Gingham.

Why did the Gingham cross the road is not even a question we ask anymore...

...it just keeps crossing over. Eventually we'll all be on the Gingham side.

Here comes another disciple.

This is the shrine they must all be heading to.

Pilgrims can worship at the altar on the way...

... to more and more Gingham.

This was not at all going 'cheap in the sales.'

Girls gotta Get Gingham... leading the pack on the chase for more heaven.

IT'S A GINGHAM THING! Special Transport and Romantic Relationships Edition...

NYC-style Gingham Scarf in a VW181 means no roll bar required on this THING.

Classic in a classic.
17th April, Twenty-Twelve (Montreal) Spring has arrived with a gust of fresh air and what better way is there to soak it up and put the wind in your hair than taking to the road in your top-down convertible? But not just any convertible, you don't want to look like some mid-life crisis hoax trying to compensate for something lacking. No, you want to go forth in style, panache and grace. Take our man here, in the Foodie District of Montreal heading off for dinner somewhere... He understands that Gingham is a thing. And since riding around with Gingham is a thing, might as well make the convertible you ride around in a Thing [see more here].

More spring time Gingham Getters on the move in Montreal with places to go:

Long Strides mean one thing: he's getting more Gingham.

"Hmm..."

"Hey, I'm on Got Gingham again... yeah, they're desperate."
"Got my Trucker Cap  but I'm walkin' all the time."

Gingham puts springs in your steps
No skating around the fact he's got Gingham.

With Gingham, there's no walking backwards.

Philly-style drop shadow Gingham Shorts--the first spot of the season.

Some people drive...
Some people wait for the bus...

And others head down to the Metro and ride the rubber rails.

She's just parallel parked...

While she's paying for more parking...

Yet this guy is one step ahead and relying on foot power to save fuel.

Gingham Travelling On Bikes:

Coolest cat in town, hands down. Already has five girlfriends after wearing this shirt.

So this guy tries to copy him, and gets the same result!

Meanwhile, some riders just don't want a girlfriend...

Here the Gingham protects against attacks from rampant females.

Jindalee's Got Gingham in the Springtime (special musical edition!)

Jindalee's music makes you jump at the chance to catch some more Gingham.
25th March, Twenty-Twelve (Montreal) Jindalee's been making music ever since she could hum. Now that she's got a new song doing the rounds we thought we would go check out her website [see here] and what do we see? Gingham all over. So no matter where you go this spring, put some Gingham in your step.

Sloan Get In On The Act

Yeah, they still got it.

The band Sloan seem to have checked out Jindalee's site too. We were doing some old research into our files from when we interviewed them back in 1999. Look then and now, what do we see? They Got Gingham.

Singing for your dinner? Then pull out that Phillie-style sleeveless number.

How to Cross the road in style:

"Hey man, can't talk now, I'm on Got Gingham."

"Time to survey the scene."

"That's right; I am the scene."

Formally introduced into the Mile End Crucial Crew.
The negotiation begins...
Here is the Mile End Crucial Crew recruiting new members. Football Casuals are becoming more and more prevalent in North America these days, except with none of the aggro and silly xenophobic nonsense associated with their Euro cousins [see here].

An overwhelming majority of them are choosing Gingham as part of their ensemble, to stand out, and be counted: we are all part of one human family.

"Back! Back in La Salle again! Yes I'm back..."
"I could wait all day, in Gingham."

It's not just a question of belonging...

It's about where to put your belongings.

Don Draper surely wouldn't object.Objectify, perhaps, but turn down... no way.

The problem with Thomas MULCAIR

"Yeah, yeah. I'll get some Gingham." Promises, promises. (G&M photo)
Our overseas readers will have no clue who we are talking about, but in Canada and Quebec today, members of the NDP voted for a new leader. His name is Thomas Mulcair. Take a look at this guy [see here].  At Got Gingham we wade away from the murky world of politics and would never dare tell anybody how to plan their day... but people! He is only ever seen wearing a white shirt. The guy ain't Got no Gingham and that means we've gotta send a message to his coterie.
