Jindalee's Got Gingham in the Springtime (special musical edition!)

Jindalee's music makes you jump at the chance to catch some more Gingham.
25th March, Twenty-Twelve (Montreal) Jindalee's been making music ever since she could hum. Now that she's got a new song doing the rounds we thought we would go check out her website [see here] and what do we see? Gingham all over. So no matter where you go this spring, put some Gingham in your step.

Sloan Get In On The Act

Yeah, they still got it.

The band Sloan seem to have checked out Jindalee's site too. We were doing some old research into our files from when we interviewed them back in 1999. Look then and now, what do we see? They Got Gingham.

More street level Gingham in Montreal:

Singing for your dinner? Then pull out that Phillie-style sleeveless number.

How to Cross the road in style:

"Hey man, can't talk now, I'm on Got Gingham."

"Time to survey the scene."

"That's right; I am the scene."

Red Gingham Still Making Hay While the Sun Shines:

Playing in the fields in Montreal means a skip along the Boulevard in Gingham.

EXCLUSIVE FOOTAGE...And after dark in the bowels of the St-Laurent nightclub district:

Formally introduced into the Mile End Crucial Crew.
The negotiation begins...
Here is the Mile End Crucial Crew recruiting new members. Football Casuals are becoming more and more prevalent in North America these days, except with none of the aggro and silly xenophobic nonsense associated with their Euro cousins [see here].

An overwhelming majority of them are choosing Gingham as part of their ensemble, to stand out, and be counted: we are all part of one human family.

"Back! Back in La Salle again! Yes I'm back..."
"I could wait all day, in Gingham."
UNSEASONABLY WARM SPRING GETS PEOPLE BACK IN THE SADDLE AND OFF IN THEIR GINGHAM, OR STRAIGHT INTO A LINE UP OF PEOPLE WITH THE EXACT SAME PLAN.

And in other sources...

From Chicago:

As far as we can tell, Gingham comes in first. Don't know what that 4th-place thingy is about. Full explanation? [see here]

And because NYC is always nice in the Spring:

NYC, Cobblestones and Gingham. No chip on his shoulder, he. [see here]

Bags of time left over to go shop for more Gingham

It's not just a question of belonging...

It's about where to put your belongings.

SPECIAL MADMEN SEASON PREMIERE UPDATE:

Don Draper surely wouldn't object.Objectify, perhaps, but turn down... no way.

The problem with Thomas MULCAIR

"Yeah, yeah. I'll get some Gingham." Promises, promises. (G&M photo)
Our overseas readers will have no clue who we are talking about, but in Canada and Quebec today, members of the NDP voted for a new leader. His name is Thomas Mulcair. Take a look at this guy [see here].  At Got Gingham we wade away from the murky world of politics and would never dare tell anybody how to plan their day... but people! He is only ever seen wearing a white shirt. The guy ain't Got no Gingham and that means we've gotta send a message to his coterie.

Today's caption: "A musical genre unto itself..." is brought to you by the Street Writers of Greater Milwaukee in conjunction with a grant from the Anti-Jacobite Rebellion Sympathizer and or Apologists Movement.
